This 14-day journey blends Tanzania's signature wildlife circuit with immersive cultural experiences and a relaxing finish on the Swahili coast. From elephant-rich Tarangire and predator-filled Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater, Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, Usambara mountain villages, and the historic coastal towns of Pangani and Bagamoyo, the itinerary is designed for travelers who want depth, variety, and comfort.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and receive a warm welcome from your Clan Adventure Safaris guide. After a short briefing, transfer to Arusha for check-in, rest, and preparation for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive among giant baobabs, seasonal wetlands, and large elephant herds. Later, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Set out for the iconic Serengeti with game viewing en route across changing landscapes. Arrive in time for an afternoon drive across the plains to search for resident predators, antelope, and big herds.
Spend the day exploring deeper sections of Serengeti National Park. Track wildlife activity through river valleys and open plains, with excellent chances to witness predator-prey interactions and classic East African safari scenes.
After breakfast, travel toward Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for one of Africa's finest wildlife experiences. Later, ascend and continue to Karatu for overnight.
Drive toward Moshi and enjoy a local coffee experience along the way. Learn about cultivation and processing, then taste freshly brewed Tanzanian coffee before continuing to your hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Mkomazi National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and settle in before heading out for an evening game drive in this scenic, less-crowded wilderness.
Visit the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary for a rare chance to observe black rhinos. Return to camp for lunch and downtime, then enjoy an evening guided nature walk around the lodge area.
Travel to Lushoto in the Usambara Mountains, a region known for green hills, small farms, cool weather, and dramatic viewpoints. Arrive for dinner and overnight.
Spend a full day exploring Lushoto and surrounding communities. Visit local farms and villages, then continue to Irente Viewpoint for wide, cinematic views over the plains below.
After breakfast, drive to Pangani on the Indian Ocean coast. Explore this historic town before heading to your beach lodge for a relaxed sunset evening.
Enjoy a slow day on Pangani's quiet beaches. Swim, unwind, or choose optional activities depending on tides and weather. This is your soft landing between safari and departure days.
Drive to Bagamoyo and discover its unique mix of coastal culture and deep history through old town streets, mission architecture, and key heritage landmarks.
After breakfast, transfer to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your departure flight, bringing your Tanzania safari, culture, and coast journey to a memorable close.
