The hike

Your day starts with a short transfer from Arusha into Napuru village on the lower slopes of Mount Meru. From the trailhead, a local guide leads you through banana farms, pine and riverine forest, and a series of gentle river crossings.

The trail is moderate—expect uneven ground and occasional slippery rock after rain. Most guests reach the falls in 45–90 minutes. At the base, a tall cascade drops into a cool natural pool framed by rock walls and dense greenery.

Time at the falls is yours: photograph the mist, picnic, or take a refreshing swim before returning the same way or looping via a viewpoint above Arusha.
