Why Tanzania
Tanzania is home to some of the most iconic landscapes and wildlife spectacles on the planet. From the endless plains of the Serengeti — where over 1.5 million wildebeest thunder across the land during the Great Migration — to the ancient Ngorongoro Crater sheltering the densest concentration of wildlife on earth, Tanzania never stops astounding.
At Clan Adventure, we've been guiding explorers through this extraordinary country for years. We know the secret corners, the best camps, the guides who speak the bush fluently, and the routes that put you right in the heart of the action. Every safari we design is private, personal, and built around you.

Detailed Route
A detailed look at our most popular Tanzania route, taking you through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the heart of the Serengeti.
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Clan Adventure driver will greet you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel in Arusha. Freshen up and enjoy a welcome dinner — your guide will brief you on the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart Arusha heading south into Tarangire National Park — famous for its ancient baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a full afternoon game drive through this underrated gem, where over 300 bird species and regular lion sightings reward early visitors. Overnight at a tented camp on the park boundary.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor shelters over 25,000 animals including the critically endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, and massive buffalo herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending to your rim lodge.
Drive into the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem with a stop at the world-famous Olduvai Gorge — one of the most important paleoanthropological sites on earth. Arrive in the central Serengeti in the afternoon for your first game drive across iconic open plains. Big cat sightings are frequent in this area.
Two full days in Africa's most legendary park. Morning game drives at sunrise and evening drives as the golden light falls on the plains. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, track the Serengeti's famous lion prides, or spot elusive leopards in the riverine forests. An optional hot air balloon safari at dawn is available.
A final sunrise game drive before transferring to the Serengeti airstrip. Fly back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward travel — or extend your adventure with a beach stay in Zanzibar. Your Clan Adventure team handles all logistics seamlessly.
When to Go
